Red Bull Party
Ok for any of you hose heads who missed this one let us fill you in. This was the big surprise of the event. Red Bull approached us, said they heard about how wild last year's event was and wanted to be involved this year (or something like that), so we said, ummm, OK! Here's the deal, Red Bull doesn't mess around - when they do something they go off! FREE BEER, FREE FOOD, and FREE RED BULL N' VODKA'S all night long. Plus they crazy tunes of the legendary DJ niceness! So roughly 2-300 people showed up throughout the night just to settle in for the race the next day and stumbled into what will be known as the biggest bash New Hampshire has seen since the primaries.
The party started around 8pm (6pm for our staff) and reports show the last of the last passing out around 5:30 am. Of course our staff had to get up around 5:45 am to run the event so you can imagine how some people felt the next day. Not to mention a little Iron Maiden (of Maiden in the Morning Fame) to rock everybody up at 6am! Denny Dog deserves major props for cooking some outrageous grub - man that was good food!
The Red Bull Party was legendary and lived true to it's name - The "Hessian Session" - with Potato Guns, Tire Smoking Competitions, Mini Bikes on the Mini Ramps, and let's not forget the Fireballs that would have brought Pat Bridges out of retirement for the duel. The dude doing the fireballs told me "Well they took my Karosene away so I had to use WD-40!" and I was thinking 'and you put that shit in your mouth?!?!?' What-Eva!
Oh yeah, did we mention someone was lighting his hair on fire too? Pisst, not the hair on his head either - pictures to follow...
