You already know that the Masters of Mini Series (MoM) is one of North America's largest and most successful pit bike series. You already know that is is a stupid fun time riding a pit bike. What you dont know is what we have planned to make this year go down in the record books! 2012 marks our 10th straight season. Every year we get new riders "discovering" pit bikes and the MoM series. Every year, we have new sponsors showcasing their products. But this year we gave you what you asked for - read on...

New for 2012 - New Tracks, New Schedule, New Rules, Better format, and more choices!

New Tracks: We have added a brand new track that is being custom build by MoM riders for the Masters of Mini Series in Charleton, MA. It is called Thunderbowl. It offers amazing screened dirt, elevation changes and rhythm sections, plus tons of great parking and camping. Another new track is Oakland Valley Race Park just over the boarder in NY State. This one is special because riders have been asking us for years to add not only another asphalt race but a true supermoto. Well ladies and gentlemen, this is a professional outdoor go kart track and it will be a true supermoto (80% asphalt and 20% dirt) They run a supermoto series there and know what they are doing - and they have lights so we will run an day time qualifier and night time finals. They will offer camping and you can even race go karts there Sunday morning before another 4 hour endurance race they have.

Don't worry, we still have our favorites on the schedule like Milford, Marshfield, Cycles and of course we are going back to Englishtown for the big throwdown against the 2up guys (Oh, its on!) We are proud to continue to offer real MX tracks to our racers, not some backyard field. Our lap times range from 1 minute 30 seconds to sometimes upwards of 3 minutes. We also offer what we feel is some of the most challenging of courses and some of the most technical terrain for pit bikes. But dont worry, many of our racers are weekend warriors too, so dont be scared. MoM has it all.

MoM now offers 14 different classes for our racers to choose from. We feel that this is one of the most diverse offerings of any race series out there. Our goal is to continue to offer fair, fun, competitive racing. We have classes for all bike and engine sizes, as well as budgets.

New Schedule: This year we have 8 different MoM dates - a 7 race series for the championship and a bonus 8th event that will be invite only at GPNY, the indoor go kart track in NY. The top 10 in each class will have a chance to qualify for this bonus race and all of the glory (think NASCAR's Chase for the cup, only you get to do more than just turn left)

New for this year: The throw away! We understand that your life doesnt revolve around pit bikes (good for you) and you have shit to do. Many riders have conflicts with the schedule whether it is a wedding (open bar), birthdays (kids and ponies - yeah), injuries (sucks) or mechanicals (Ka-chin). Whatever it is, sometimes it is hard to make every round. So this year we will allow each rider to throw away their lowest score from the season, whether it is a missed round or just a race you would like to forget. We hope this gives you more flexibility to enjoy racing with us!

But the Masters of Mini Series is more than just a race series, it is a big party and gathering every time we get together. Friends new and old come out to play, race, bang bars and tell stories. In fact, we have been lucky enough to attract some of the best sponsors around to support our series. Now you can have bikes worked on trackside; so a bent rim, blown tube, or carburetor issues wont end your day. We have food vendors on sight for most races, so you will eat well. We have companies selling t shirts, Beer mugs, hoodies and more with cool MoM logos. You can even order customized items with your name and number on them. Not to mention frequent samplings from Red Bull, Kind Bars, and Vitamin Water and Smart Water - MoM is more like a festival than just another race.

You have to experience it to really know!

We are also proud of our female riders who have manned up and taken to the track, instead of just watching their husband and boyfriends have all the fun. We also welcome all the new faces we see each event. So many come to watch and then get a bike and actually race with us the next time. Several teams and individuals have bought and sold bikes right at our event, so if you are looking for a bike - come on down.
