da what?

da States Reg Form

Think des nations, only with a little Stimilon Flair (hence the “da” instead of des – even though it is pronounced the same)

This class is something that has been discussed for a long time. The idea is that 5 riders will form a team (can be a club team, shop team, church group, whatever). Last year we made it mandatory that everyone be from the same state, This year we loosened it up to suggest that at least two of you posers be from the same "state"

Each team of 5 must have at least one of the following on the team:

(1) Female
(1) Vet
(1) 2 stroke

Last year we said anyone who has ever earned an AMA point (either in SX or MX) is not allowed to race on a da States… Team. This year we say F@#% it - just put a team together! The idea was to keep the ringers out so this could be a fun race, but we know none of you care anyway so have at it. The race will be won in the pits anyway - not on the track. Oh... What is this you ask? Keep reading sunshine.

A team can be all Vets, as long as one is a female and someone is on a 2 stroke. It can be all ladies, as long as someone is on a 2 stroke and someone is over 30. It can be all 2 strokes (the militia lives!) but only if someone is a female and someone is over 30. Each rider can only represent one of the criteria (ie you cant have an old lady on a cr125 and then 4 pros on 450s) However, an all cougar 2 stroke team - that could work!

Each team will create a T shirt (this is your baton to hand off between teammates). The shirt must have the following:

- Sleeves (short, ok)
- The team name on the front
- A number on the back (we will assign your number)

Each team will be able to pick a color, first come first served – so have fun with that.

Each rider will take one lap around the track and then must pull into the staging area (bike shut off and push... What? You thought we would make this easy? ha!). Then the team member must shed the Team Shirt and the next rider must have it on (correctly) before they can take off down the start line. The shirt must be in "working order" - if the shirt is ripped or tattered you are disqualified. This goes on for 45 minutes or whenever we get tired of the whole thing. The team that rotates through their rider order the most times wins! We dont have a big Trophie just yet, so for now it is just a high five and a slap on the ass (for each of you)

There can be more than one team per state but the goal here is to have a many states represented as possible. But there is a 20 team limit.

Now go put your team together!
